2024-(P) Silver Eagle Star Privy MS-69 PCGS (1st 50,000)
The 2024 American Eagle silver dollar represents a historic milestone for United States Mint bullion. For the very first time on a bullion issue of this series, a special five-pointed star privy mark is struck directly onto the obverse, distinguishing this release from standard issues. Minted at the Philadelphia facility, this particular coin has been certified in outstanding Mint State 69 condition, indicating its near-flawless preservation. On the obverse, the classic design by Adolph A. Weinman depicts Lady Liberty draped in the American flag as she strides gracefully toward a rising sun. The traditional inscription "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the year "2024" are clearly visible alongside the unique star privy mark. The reverse, created by Emily Damstra, features a detailed bald eagle carrying an oak branch in its grasp, symbolizing strength and endurance. Containing one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, this coin is part of a limited mintage of 500,000 pieces.
