Crafted from one troy ounce of 99.99% pure silver, this 2024 Canadian release is a striking celebration of cultural harmony. The coin represents a creative bridge between traditions, showcasing a vibrant insert of simulated turquoise that draws the eye to the center of its complex reverse design. Created by Canadian artist Soheila Esfahani, the reverse side is rich with intricate detailing. It incorporates classic Eslimi patterns alongside elegant Shah Abbasi flower motifs. This central theme is further enhanced by lotus flowers, which draw inspiration from the ancient reliefs of Persepolis, and a traditional paisley motif. Blending these ancient elements with Canadian identity, stylized maple leaves are seamlessly woven into the pattern, creating a beautiful visual dialogue. On the obverse, the coin features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II created by Susanna Blunt. This particular effigy includes a tribute marking consisting of four pearls alongside the dual dates of her reign, 1952 to 2022.
