The 2024 Morgan Silver Dollar represents a modern continuation of a classic American coin series that first debuted in 1878. Minted in Philadelphia, this modern release contains 0.858 troy ounces of 0.999 fine silver and is presented in brilliant uncirculated condition. Because it was produced at the Philadelphia Mint, the coin does not bear a mint mark. The obverse features a left-facing profile of Liberty. She wears a Phrygian cap adorned with wheat ears and cotton blossoms, with the word "LIBERTY" inscribed on her hairband and the year "2024" positioned below the portrait. On the reverse, an American eagle is depicted with its wings spread wide, holding a bundle of arrows and an olive branch in its talons. The inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "ONE DOLLAR", and the traditional motto "In God we trust" surround the central eagle design. The total mintage for this specific issue is limited to 275,000 pieces.
