On the obverse, observers will find an updated rendition of the classic design originally created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens for the double eagle. This iconic image displays Lady Liberty stepping forward with a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other, set against a backdrop of radiating sunbeams. Legible inscriptions on this side include the words Liberty and the year of issue. The reverse showcases a highly detailed, close-up profile of an eagle's head, a modern design element that was first integrated into the series in 2021.
