The 2025 American Gold Eagle represents a continuation of one of the most recognized gold series in modern history. The metal composition itself is crafted from 0.9167 fine gold, which is strengthened by the deliberate addition of silver and copper to ensure durability. This iconic imagery was adapted from the famous 1907 twenty dollar gold piece created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens.
