The 2025 American Silver Eagle represents a continuation of the United States' premier silver bullion program, which first began in 1986. This official one dollar coin contains one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, with its weight, purity, and metallic content fully backed by the United States Treasury. This particular specimen has achieved a high certification of Mint State 69 (MS-69) and carries a special designation indicating it was received for grading within the initial month of release. On the obverse, the coin displays the classic Walking Liberty design originally created by Adolph A. Weinman. Liberty is depicted moving gracefully toward the dawn, draped in the folds of the American flag, with the inscription "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the year "2025" clearly visible. The reverse features a modern depiction of an eagle in flight, designed by Emily Damstra. The powerful bird is shown carrying an oak branch, surrounded by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "ONE DOLLAR," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," and "E PLURIBUS UNUM."
