Struck in highly polished proof condition, this gold coin marks eight decades since the conclusion of World War II. It contains one quarter ounce of extremely pure 0.9999 fine gold and is issued as official Australian currency. With a very small release of only 750 pieces, it represents a highly focused commemorative effort from the Perth Mint. The reverse side displays a powerful depiction of Winged Victory, a figure modeled after Nike, the ancient Greek goddess. This side also bears the inscription "80 YEARS END OF WWII" alongside the year 2025 and the traditional "P" mint mark. On the obverse, the modern effigy of King Charles III, designed by Dan Thorne, is accompanied by the coin's weight, purity, and the face value of 25 dollars.
