This striking silver coin brings ancient Greek mythology to life through a detailed high-relief strike. It is the first issue in a commemorative series dedicated to the Fates, who are recognized in classical lore as the Moirai. These three powerful goddesses are responsible for shaping the destiny of every individual, deciding the course of human lives from birth to death. The reverse side, created by artist Natasha Muhl, presents the three deities gathered in a traditional Greek grove. Surrounded by dense foliage, they hold a rope that represents the thread of human life. This side also features the traditional 'P' mint mark of the Perth Mint. To enhance the depth of the design, the coin features a specialized antiqued patina that highlights the intricate details of the high-relief engraving. On the obverse, the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, designed by Jody Clark, is prominently displayed. Surrounding the portrait are inscriptions detailing the coin's weight of two ounces, its 0.9999 silver purity, the 2025 year of issue, and the face value of two dollars. With a restricted release of only 3,000 pieces, this coin represents a remarkable fusion of classical storytelling and modern minting artistry.
