2025 Australia 1 oz Silver Koala BU
2025 Australia 1 oz Silver Koala BU
The Australian Koala series has captivated observers since its initial release in 2007. For the 2025 issue, this celebrated silver piece introduces a brand new artistic depiction of one of the continent's most recognizable marsupials. The reverse side, illustrated by Aleysha Howarth, portrays a koala clinging to a gum tree branch. This side also incorporates the year 2025, the weight of one ounce, the 0.9999 purity level, and the word KOALA. To protect the integrity of the piece, a tiny security element is engraved via micro-laser into the design, alongside the traditional P mint mark representing the Perth Mint. On the obverse, the effigy of King Charles III, created by Dan Thorne, faces left. The surrounding inscriptions include the monarch's name, the issuing nation of Australia, and the face value of 1 Dollar. Backed fully by the Australian government as official legal tender, this brilliant uncirculated coin is struck with a maximum production limit of 300,000 pieces, making it a notable release within the modern era of precious metals.
