For this release, the coin has achieved a perfect certified grade of Mint State 70 (MS-70), representing a flawless strike. On the obverse, the coin displays the portrait of King Charles III, designed by Dan Thorne. The surrounding inscriptions confirm the monarch's name, the issuing nation of Australia, and the denomination of 1 DOLLAR. The reverse, designed by Sean Rogers, showcases a detailed kookaburra perched upon a tree branch. Accompanying the central image is a special privy mark that honors the 35th year of the series by referencing the original 1990 design. The reverse also features the traditional 'P' mint mark for the Perth Mint, the 2025 year-date, the weight, and the purity. For added authenticity, a tiny micro-laser engraved letter is integrated into the design as a security feature. While early issues in this series had a yearly mintage cap of 300,000, the maximum mintage for the one-ounce bullion version has been set at 500,000 annually since 2011.
