2025 Australia 1 oz Silver Wedge Tailed Eagle BU
2025 Australia 1 oz Silver Wedge Tailed Eagle BU
The 2025 silver dollar marks the eleventh entry in a celebrated wildlife series that originally debuted in 2014. Struck by The Perth Mint, this legal tender release contains one troy ounce of exceptionally pure 0.9999 fine silver. Backed fully by the Australian government, the issue is restricted to a maximum production run of 50,000 pieces. On the reverse, a magnificent wedge-tailed eagle is depicted from a low vantage point, perched quietly upon a tree branch. This detailed scene, created by designer John Mercanti, also incorporates the traditional Perth Mint mark. Surrounding the bird are the inscriptions confirming the weight and purity, the year, and the words celebrating the tenth anniversary of the series. The obverse of the coin transitions to the official effigy of His Majesty King Charles III. Alongside the royal portrait, the face value of one dollar is clearly inscribed, completing a design that balances natural majesty with sovereign authority.
