2025 China 1 gram Gold Panda BU (Sealed)
The Chinese Gold Panda series, which began in 1982, is celebrated for its annually changing reverse designs, with 2002 being the sole exception to this tradition. Since 2016, these coins have been struck using the metric system rather than traditional troy ounces. This 2025 issue contains exactly 1 gram of 0.999 fine gold and carries a face value of 10 Yuan, backed by the People's Bank of China. On the obverse, the coin displays the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, located within Beijing's historic Temple of Heaven. The Chinese characters for the People's Republic of China and the 2025 release year surround this architectural landmark. Because these coins are produced across multiple mints in China, subtle variations in font size or date placement can occur, and they typically do not carry mint marks. The reverse of the 2025 edition captures a charming wildlife scene, showcasing a mother panda alongside two cubs and a branch of bamboo. This side also displays the weight and purity inscription, 1g Au 0.999, alongside the 10 Yuan denomination, making it a beautiful example of modern Chinese numismatic artistry.
