On the obverse, the coin features the iconic Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests located in Beijing. This architectural marvel is framed by Chinese characters translating to the People's Republic of China, with the year 2025 inscribed at the bottom. The People's Bank of China guarantees these coins, which are produced across multiple facilities, including mints in Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Shenyang. Although Chinese mints generally omit mint marks, select years such as 1987 have featured 'Y' or 'S' marks. This Brilliant Uncirculated coin contains 30 grams of 99.9 percent pure gold, representing a modern era of Chinese coinage. In 2016, the series underwent a major transition by adopting the metric system, replacing the traditional 1 ounce weight standard with this 30 gram format.
