This impressive five-ounce silver coin represents the sixth year Mexico has released its famed Libertad design in a reverse proof format. Struck at the historic Casa de Moneda de México, this 2025 edition has been certified in perfect Proof 70 condition. The coin is composed of five troy ounces of 0.999 fine silver, with its production strictly limited to a mintage of just 600 pieces, all backed by the Banco de México. The design elements on both sides are deeply evocative. The front of the coin displays the modern Mexican national shield, encircled by the inscription ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS, which is further surrounded by a series of historical national coats of arms. On the other side, the iconic Winged Victory statue stands tall against a backdrop featuring the peaks of the Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl volcanoes.
