The 2025 silver proof coin from Niue celebrates the historic Wikov 22 tractor, a machine produced by the premier agricultural manufacturer of Czechoslovakia. The Wikov company, established on December 22, 1918, is commemorated here in one troy ounce of 999 fine silver. This piece is part of the On Wheels series, which honors significant milestones in mechanical transport and machinery. On the reverse, the coin displays a three-quarter perspective of the Wikov 22 tractor. The background design artfully incorporates the pattern of furrows carved into the earth by plough wheels, capturing the essence of early twentieth-century farming. This side also features the inscription WIKOV 22. The obverse is cleverly integrated with the structural elements of a tractor wheel. It features the public seal of Niue alongside the country of issue, the year 2025, and the face value of 1 Dollar.
