The 2025 Morgan Silver Dollar represents a modern continuation of a classic American coin series that originally debuted in 1878. Created to honor the westward growth and industrial progress of the United States, this coin is struck at the Philadelphia Mint and carries no mint mark. Each piece is composed of 0.858 troy ounces of 0.999 fine silver, presented in brilliant uncirculated condition. On the obverse side, a left-facing profile of Liberty is depicted. She wears a Phrygian cap adorned with a crown of wheat ears and cotton blossoms, with the word LIBERTY visible on her band and the year 2025 inscribed below. The reverse displays a powerful American eagle with its wings fully spread, holding a bundle of arrows and an olive branch. The inscriptions surrounding the eagle include the country of issue, the denomination of ONE DOLLAR, and the traditional motto, In God we trust.
