This modern silver coin from Ukraine presents a striking depiction of the Archangel Michael, a figure revered across multiple global faiths including Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Recognized as a powerful healer and the commander of heavenly forces against wickedness, Michael is shown on the reverse with his wings fully extended and his sword unsheathed, embodying his role as a guardian. The design is framed by Ukrainian inscriptions, which draw from Taras Shevchenko's poem "Haydamakys" and translate to "Michael's strength." On the obverse, the official Ukrainian Coat of Arms is displayed alongside text identifying the National Bank of Ukraine, the institution that guarantees the coin. This particular piece is crafted from one troy ounce of highly pure 0.9999 silver and has achieved a perfect grade of Mint State 70, indicating its flawless condition. Collaboratively created by the artists Volodymyr Taran, Oleksandr Kharuk, and Serhii Kharuk, this issue is limited to a maximum production of 10,000 pieces.
