The 2025 American Silver Eagle represents a continuing legacy of United States silver coinage, a tradition that began in 1986 under the Liberty Coin Act of 1985. Minted at the West Point facility, this particular specimen has achieved the highest possible grade of Mint State 70 (MS-70), signifying its flawless condition. It also carries a special designation indicating it was among the initial coins shipped from the mint, captured within the first thirty days of production. On the obverse, the design showcases Lady Liberty enveloped in the American flag, gracefully moving toward a rising sun. Originally created by Adolph A. Weinman, this classic image is accompanied by the legible inscriptions "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the year "2025". The reverse side, designed by Emily Damstra, displays a powerful American bald eagle in mid-flight, carrying an oak branch. Surrounding this central figure are the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", the face value of "ONE DOLLAR", and "E PLURIBUS UNUM". The coin is composed of one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, as confirmed by the reverse inscription "1 OZ. FINE SILVER".
