The 2026 Armenian silver coin presents a striking visual narrative rooted in ancient history and national identity. Struck in one ounce of 0.999 pure silver, this legal tender piece is issued under the authority of the Central Bank of Armenia, with its sovereign status fully supported by the nation's government. Although it represents the state of Armenia, the physical production of this brilliant uncirculated coin takes place at a state-of-the-art private minting facility located in Germany. This ongoing series first made its debut in 2011. The reverse side of the coin features an intricate composition designed by artist Eduard Kurghinyan. It depicts the biblical vessel floating upon the vast floodwaters, set against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Ararat, a deeply significant national symbol for the Armenian people. In the foreground, a dove flies carrying an olive branch, while a bright sun rises in the background.
