2026 Australia 1 oz Gold Koala Proof (High Relief, Box & COA)

1.0000 troy oz .9999 2026 Proof

The 2026 Australian Koala proof coin represents a remarkable fusion of modern minting technology and natural artistry. Struck in one troy ounce of highly refined 0.9999 fine gold, this issue is notable for its extremely limited production, with a maximum mintage of only 200 pieces worldwide. This scarcity makes it an exceptionally intriguing find for those who appreciate rare numismatic treasures. The reverse of the coin features a detailed depiction of a koala clutching eucalyptus branches, a classic representation of Australia's unique wildlife. This side also carries the inscriptions indicating the 2026 year date, the one-ounce weight, the 9999 gold purity, and the traditional 'P' mint mark representing the historic Perth Mint. On the obverse, the coin displays the official effigy of His Majesty King Charles III. Surrounding the royal portrait are the inscriptions denoting the King's name and the face value of 100 Dollars. Backed by the Australian government as official legal tender, this sovereign gold coin stands as a testament to high-relief craftsmanship and limited-edition minting.
