2026 Cambodia 1 oz Silver Lost Tigers BU
This brilliant uncirculated silver coin marks the fifth installment in a series dedicated to the endangered Indo-Chinese tigers of Cambodia. The issue highlights a critical conservation story, as Cambodia recognized the potential extinction of these magnificent big cats within its borders in 2017 and subsequently initiated recovery programs to help bring them back. One side of the coin features an intricate depiction of an Indo-Chinese tiger accompanied by two cubs, positioned before the iconic temple complex of Angkor Wat. This side also bears the inscription detailing the weight and purity as 1 oz 999 FINE SILVER, alongside the series name, LOST TIGERS. The other side displays the majestic temple of Angkor Wat in detail. Surrounding the sacred architecture are the inscriptions KINGDOM OF CAMBODIA, the year of issue 2026, and the legal tender value of 3,000 RIELS. Struck from one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, this coin is limited to a mintage of 10,000 pieces.
