This coin is crafted from one ounce of 99.99 percent pure silver, but its visual impact is heightened by selective plating. The design utilizes a dual-metal artistic approach, applying yellow gold plating across the reverse field while highlighting the central figure with a layer of platinum plating. On the reverse, the personification of peace, known as PAX, stands in a flowing robe. Her head is adorned with a crown woven from olive branches and maple leaves.
