This striking 2026 release from the Royal Canadian Mint showcases a remarkable fusion of precious metals. Crafted from five ounces of 0.9999 fine silver, the coin is elevated by selective platinum plating that highlights its central figure. This issue is part of the 2026 Peace Dollar Suite and is limited to a mintage of 1,750 pieces. The reverse of the coin features a full-body depiction of Lady Peace standing on a platinum-plated shoreline, a design element appearing for its second consecutive year. Her crown is woven from maple leaves and olive branches, while the background features rays of sunlight that cleverly form the shape of a maple leaf. The scene is accompanied by the Latin motto "A MARI USQUE AD MARE" alongside "PAX" and the year "2026". This side of the coin was designed by Susan Taylor. On the obverse, the effigy of King Charles III, created by Steven Rosati, is displayed. The inscriptions "CHARLES III", "D. G.
