On the obverse, the coin features the iconic Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, located within Beijing's historic Temple of Heaven. This architectural landmark is framed by Chinese characters translating to the People's Republic of China, with the year 2026 inscribed below. Production of these coins is distributed across multiple facilities, including mints in Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Shenyang, with some years featuring specific mint marks like Y or S.
