2026 France 2 oz Silver History of American Independence: Liberty

Struck by the historic Monnaie de Paris, this modern two-ounce silver coin marks the 250th anniversary of the United States. Part of a series initiated in 2020, the coin is minted from 0.999 fine silver and has a limited mintage of only 2,000 pieces. It serves as a striking numismatic tribute to the shared revolutionary histories of France and America. The obverse presents a modern reinterpretation of the famous Libertas Americana medal. It features the figures of Minerva and Lady Liberty holding aloft a flame. This side also displays the face value of 25 Euro, the French national monogram "RF", and the historic date of 4 Juil. 1776.
