2026 France Silver €10 25th Anniversary The Lord of the Rings #1
Struck by the Monnaie de Paris, this French 10 Euro coin celebrates the twenty-fifth anniversary of the cinematic journey into Middle-earth. Crafted from 0.7137 troy ounces of 0.999 fine silver, the piece brings cinematic fantasy to life through intricate engraving on its metal surface. One side of the coin features the wizard Gandalf the Grey alongside hooded riders on horseback as they depart the Shire, all set against a detailed map of Middle-earth. This side also bears the inscription "Fellowship of the Ring" alongside the year 2026, marking the quarter-century milestone of the film's release. The opposite side focuses on the dark power of Mordor, depicting the infamous One Ring positioned over the menacing eye of Sauron. Flames reveal the secret Elvish inscription of the Ring, while the denomination "10 EURO" and the letters "RF" representing the French Republic are also clearly displayed. Each coin is produced to a proof standard, with a limited release of 5,000 pieces.
