On the reverse side, artist Sandra Deiana provides a modern interpretation of Saint George in active combat with the dragon. Surrounding this central image is a micro-text security feature alongside an inscription derived from the historic George noble coin of 1526. The obverse features the official portrait of His Majesty King Charles III, designed by Martin Jennings, accompanied by the face value of 100 pounds.
