The 2026 Niue Marvel: X-Men '97 series brings a unique, mystery-driven approach to precious metals. Each blind box contains a single five-gram silver foil legal tender coin, celebrating the beloved animated superhero team. With a total of 24 distinct foil designs spread across four tiers of rarity, the series offers a diverse exploration of fan-favorite characters including Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Rogue, and Gambit. Struck from 0.999 fine silver, these five-gram foils carry a face value of one dollar, backed by the government of Niue. The distribution of these characters is governed by strict rarity levels. Tier 1 foils feature a mintage of 1,200 per character, while Tier 2 and Tier 3 designs are limited to 600 and 180 per character respectively. The most elusive tier, Tier 4, is struck in fine gold with a worldwide mintage of just 20 per character. Each foil is presented in dimensions of 70mm by 110mm, officially licensed by Marvel.
