2026 Sail4th 250 1/2 oz Silver Round (in TEP)
This half-ounce silver round, minted in the United States from 0.999 fine silver, commemorates the semiquincentennial of America. The design, crafted by artist Joel Iskowitz, captures the spirit of the nation's 250th anniversary with intricate detail on both sides of the round. The obverse features the United States Coast Guard Cutter Eagle guiding a global fleet of vessels into the New York Harbor, with the Statue of Liberty standing watch on the left. Inscriptions on this side welcome the tall ships of the world to the Port of New York and New Jersey in celebration of the milestone, with the designation Sail4th 250 anchored at the bottom. On the reverse, Lady Liberty holds the Torch of Enlightenment aloft while supporting a shield decorated with thirteen stars and the Liberty Bell. An American bald eagle glides through the sky above. This side bears the inscriptions celebrating the Semiquincentennial of the United States of America alongside the ideals of Freedom, Hope, and Opportunity, marked by the historic span of 1776 to 2026.
