2026 Sail4th 250 1 oz Silver Proof Round (w/Box & COA)

This modern silver proof round, minted in the United States, commemorates the semiquincentennial of the nation's founding. Crafted from one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, the piece features a highly restricted mintage of exactly 1,776 pieces globally, reflecting the historic year of American independence. Designed by artist Joel Iskowitz, the obverse side illustrates the United States Coast Guard Cutter Eagle guiding a magnificent international fleet of vessels into the Harbor of New York. To the left, the Statue of Liberty stands tall with her raised torch. The detailed scene is bordered by the welcoming inscription, "The Port of New York and New Jersey and the USA Welcome the Tall Ships of the World in Honor of America's Semiquincentennial," alongside the event title, "Sail4th 250." On the reverse, the theme of liberty is further explored through a rich compilation of American symbols. Lady Liberty is depicted holding the Torch of Enlightenment next to a shield bearing 13 stars and the historic Liberty Bell, while a bald eagle glides through the sky above. This side is inscribed with the words "Semiquincentennial of the United States of America, Freedom, Hope, Opportunity" and displays the dual commemorative years of 1776 and 2026.
