2026-W 1 oz Proof Platinum Eagle PR-70 PCGS (FirstStrike®)
This modern platinum release marks the beginning of the Charters of Freedom coin series. It has achieved the highest possible grade of Proof 70 Deep Cameo, indicating its flawless strike and exceptional visual contrast. The obverse design, created by Patricia Lucas-Morris, presents a powerful scene of sunlight breaking through dark storm clouds, accompanied by a feather quill. The inscription DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE is featured alongside the traditional mottos of LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. The year 2026 is also clearly visible on this face. On the reverse, designed by Don Everhart, an eagle glides through the air while clutching an olive branch. This side displays the United States of America name, the denomination, and the metal weight and purity.
