2026-(W) American Silver Eagle MS-70 PCGS (FirstStrike®)
The 2026 American Silver Eagle represents a beautiful bridge between different eras of United States coinage. On the front, the coin showcases the iconic Walking Liberty design, which originally graced the nation's half dollars from 1916 to 1947. This historic artwork by Adolph A. Weinman remains one of the most celebrated depictions of liberty in numismatic history, showing her draped in the American flag as she strides toward a rising sun. The inscriptions "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "2026" accompany this timeless image. In contrast to the historic obverse, the reverse features a contemporary design introduced during the 2021 redesign. Created by Emily Damstra, this modern artwork captures a majestic eagle in mid-flight as it descends, gripping an oak branch in its talons. The reverse inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "ONE DOLLAR," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," and the traditional motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM." Struck at the West Point Mint from one troy ounce of 0.999 fine silver, this official United States bullion coin has been certified in perfect Mint State 70 condition. It also carries the FirstStrike designation, indicating it was among the early issues packaged by the mint at the start of production for the year.
