The year 2026 marks a monumental milestone, representing the 250th anniversary of the United States. To honor this historic occasion, this brilliant silver dollar showcases a blend of classic and contemporary artistry. Struck from one troy ounce of 99.9 percent pure silver, the coin has achieved a perfect Mint State 70 certification, indicating its pristine condition and lack of any visible imperfections. On the front of the coin, the iconic Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman makes a graceful appearance, a celebrated image that was first revived for this series when it debuted in 1986. The legible inscriptions include the year 2026 and the traditional motto, IN GOD WE TRUST. Although minted at the West Point facility, the coin does not display a physical mint mark. The reverse side features a modern interpretation of the national symbol, introduced to the series in 2021. Designed by Emily Damstra, it depicts a powerful eagle in mid-descent, its talons grasping an oak branch as if preparing to land.
