Unveiled originally as a convertible in 1953, this legendary automobile has achieved the distinction of being the longest-running passenger car model in the world. The vehicle has seen major milestones throughout its history, including the introduction of its second generation in 1963 and the relocation of its manufacturing operations to Bowling Green, Kentucky in 1981, where it has been built for more than three decades. The obverse of this 0.999 fine silver round showcases the famous crossed flags logo of the brand, rendered in striking red, black, and white against a vivid red backdrop. Encircling this central image is the inscription "Chevrolet Motor Division, Corvette". On the reverse, the same colorful emblem and layout are repeated.
