This ancient silver drachm originates from the Indo-Greek Kingdoms, dating back to the period of 174 to 165 BC. Weighing 2.3 grams and measuring 18 mm in diameter, this coin represents a fascinating era of cultural synthesis where Greek artistic traditions met the ancient East. The obverse side of the coin features a detailed depiction of Nike, the winged goddess of victory, walking toward the left while holding a palm branch. On the reverse, a dynamic scene shows the king on horseback riding toward the right.
