Mexico 1/10 oz Gold Onza &/or Libertad BU (Random Year)

0.1000 troy oz .999 Brilliant Unc

The gold tenth-ounce Libertad is a striking example of Mexican numismatic artistry, produced by the historic Casa de Moneda de México and backed by the Banco de México. This coin features two of the nation's most powerful visual symbols. On one side, the Mexican National Coat of Arms is displayed, surrounded by the legend ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS. The other side showcases the Angel of Independence, a monumental figure representing liberty. Depending on the year of issue, these tenth-onza coins carry different metallic compositions. Pieces struck between 1981 and 1988 were minted using 0.900 fine gold, while those produced from 1991 onward contain 0.999 fine gold. The reverse inscriptions reflect this precious metal content, noting 1/10 ONZA and ORO PURO alongside the purity and the distinctive Mo mint mark of the Mexico City Mint.
