Netherlands Gold 10 Gulden (Random) AU
Netherlands Gold 10 Gulden (Random) AU
Between 1875 and 1933, the Dutch Royal Mint in Utrecht produced a series of gold 10 Guilder coins that served as a cornerstone of commerce in the Netherlands. Struck in 0.900 fine gold, each of these pieces contains 0.1947 troy ounces of precious metal. These coins survive today in Almost Uncirculated condition, preserving the fine details of their classic European design. The obverse of the coin showcases the portrait of the reigning Dutch monarch from the era of issue. On the reverse, the design features the crowned Royal arms of Holland, flanked by the denomination. A traditional edge inscription, reading in part "GOD ZIJ MET ONS," translates to "God be with us," reflecting the deep heritage of the issuing nation.
