The obverse of the coin displays a highly dynamic scene of physical contest, depicting two wrestlers locked in combat as they grasp each other by the arms. This athletic theme transitions to a military one on the reverse, which depicts a slinger in mid-motion, preparing to launch a projectile. To the right of the slinger, a three-legged triskeles symbol is visible, while a club is positioned below the central figure.
