Dating back to the years 78 to 120 AD, this silver drachm offers a physical connection to the ancient Parthian Empire. Weighing approximately 0.1200 troy ounces, the coin is a remarkable survivor from antiquity, preserved in Choice Almost Uncirculated condition. The obverse of the coin displays a detailed portrait of the ruler Pacorus. He is depicted facing to the left, wearing a traditional diadem, and characterized by a medium, pointed beard. The artistry captures the distinct royal portraiture of the era with impressive clarity. On the reverse side, the design features the figure of an archer, representing Arsakes I, seated on a throne and facing right while holding a bow.
