This ancient silver drachm originates from the Parthian Empire during the reign of Sinatruces, who ruled from 93 to 69 BC. As a survivor from antiquity, the coin has been certified in Almost Uncirculated condition, offering a remarkably clear window into the artistic traditions of a powerful ancient dynasty. The obverse side displays a left-facing bust of the ruler, Sinatruces, adorned in a royal diadem and draped attire. The portrait captures the distinct styling of Parthian leadership, emphasizing the king's status and authority through his formal presentation. On the reverse, the design features the traditional figure of an archer, representing Arsakes I, seated on a throne and facing right while holding a bow. A small monogram is visible beneath the bow, serving as a unique mark of the coin's origin.
