Certified in Very Fine condition, the coin serves as a fascinating artifact of imperial survival and Roman monetary history. The obverse of the coin displays the right-facing profile of Emperor Gallienus. He is depicted wearing a radiate crown, a traditional numismatic symbol used to distinguish the double denarius denomination from a standard denarius.
