Tunisia Gold 20 Francs (Random) Avg Circ
Struck in Paris during a period spanning from 1891 to 1904, this French-minted gold coin was produced specifically for circulation in Tunisia. Each piece contains 0.1867 troy ounces of gold, refined to a purity of 0.900. Having traveled through commerce, these specimens survive in average circulated condition, carrying the soft wear of historical use. The obverse design features the name of the ruler, Muhammad Al-Hadi, framed elegantly by delicate sprigs. On the reverse, a central circle encloses the denomination of 20 Francs along with the date of issue, surrounded by intricate decorative patterns. The Paris Mint mark, a letter A, is visible alongside the inscriptions, marking its origin of manufacture.
