Struck in the centennial year of the United States, this 1876 silver dime from the San Francisco Mint represents a classic era of American coinage. Minted in 90% fine silver, the coin contains 0.0715 troy ounces of precious metal. It carries a face value of ten cents, backed fully as official sovereign currency by the United States government. The obverse features the celebrated design by Christian Gobrecht, depicting Lady Liberty seated upon a rock.
