The year 1886 marked a significant moment for American coinage, producing this elegant Liberty Seated dime. Minted in Philadelphia, this ten-cent piece is composed of 90 percent silver, containing approximately 0.0715 troy ounces of the precious metal. The design belongs to the classic Liberty Seated series, which defined the look of silver coinage in the United States during the nineteenth century.
