The 1887-S Liberty Seated Dime represents a fascinating era of United States coinage, minted at the San Francisco facility during the late nineteenth century. Struck in 90 percent silver, this ten-cent piece carries a metal content of 0.0715 troy ounces. This particular specimen is preserved in Very Good circulated condition, showing the honest wear of a coin that active commerce once relied upon.
