The 1890 Liberty Head five-cent piece offers a captivating look at late nineteenth-century American coinage. Struck in Philadelphia, this base-metal coin contains no precious metal, yet it stands as a testament to the artistic sensibilities of its era. This particular specimen is preserved in Extra Fine condition, displaying the crisp details of its original engraving with remarkable clarity. On the obverse, the design showcases a left-facing portrait of Liberty.
