1910 Lincoln Cent BU (Red)

0.0000 troy oz 1910 Brilliant Unc

In 1910, the United States Mint continued production of a newly introduced bronze penny that would become an enduring symbol of American pocket change. This particular specimen survives in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, retaining its original red copper luster from the Philadelphia Mint. The coin represents the second year of the Lincoln Cent series, which replaced the long-running Indian Head design. On the obverse, the profile of Abraham Lincoln faces right, accompanied by the inscriptions of liberty and trust that remain central to American coinage. The reverse features two stylized wheat ears framing the denomination, a classic motif that defined the early decades of the twentieth-century cent. Legible inscriptions on this piece include the national motto, the year 1910, and the declaration of the United States of America.
