The 1912 Lincoln Cent represents an early chapter in one of America's most enduring coin series. Struck at the Denver Mint, this piece carries the 'D' mint mark on its obverse, positioned just below the date. This specific coin has been preserved in Very Fine condition, showing the moderate wear of a cent that likely circulated during the early twentieth century while retaining its key design details. Crafted from a metal composition that is 95 percent copper, the coin features the right-facing portrait of Abraham Lincoln on the obverse. This side is framed by the familiar inscriptions "IN GOD WE TRUST" along the top curve, with "LIBERTY" to the left of the president's bust. The reverse side displays the traditional design of two wheat ears framing the central denomination.
