0.0000 troy oz 1914 Very Fine

The 1914 Lincoln Cent struck at the Denver Mint represents a classic era of American bronze coinage. This particular specimen survives in Very Fine condition, showing a pleasing level of detail that highlights the artistry of its creator, Victor David Brenner. On the obverse, the profile of Abraham Lincoln faces right, accompanied by the word LIBERTY and the date 1914 with the D mint mark below it. The motto IN GOD WE TRUST arches over the president's likeness. The reverse side features two stylized wheat ears framing the central inscriptions ONE CENT and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The traditional Latin motto, E PLURIBUS UNUM, is positioned gracefully at the top rim, completing a design that defined the look of the American penny for decades.
