0.0000 troy oz 1914 Almost Unc

The 1914 Lincoln Cent represents an early chapter in one of the most famous and longest-running series in United States coinage. Struck in copper at the Philadelphia Mint, this particular issue survives in an Almost Uncirculated state, preserving the fine details of a design that has become a staple of American pocket change. On the obverse, the coin features a detailed right-facing profile of Abraham Lincoln. Above the portrait, the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" arches along the upper rim, while the word "LIBERTY" stands to the left of the president, and the date "1914" is positioned to the lower right. This simple yet powerful portrait was created by sculptor Victor David Brenner. The reverse of the coin features the traditional "Wheat Penny" design. Two stylized stalks of wheat frame the central inscriptions, which state the denomination "ONE CENT" and the issuing country "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA." The design serves as a classic example of early twentieth-century American numismatic art.
